The Daiwa Team Daiwa - S Surf Classics TD-S 802-3RS Spinning Rod is suitable for catching a variety of game fish. This 8’ rod has many great features, like the textured ferrule grip which allows the fisherman to take the two piece rod apart without any problems, even if the hands are wet. Other features include the lightweight blank made of HSD graphite and a  Polyfluor coating on the rod that protects it from UV damage. The grips are made of high density Duracork for many years of fish fighting action, and there are five large guides made of aluminum oxide. There is also a Fuji DPS reel seat that is both stainless and hooded. It has a Regular Action with Medium Power, line weight from 12 to 20 pounds, and a lure weight of 0.75 to 3 ounces.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
