The Shimano Talavera Casting Saltwater Rods are made of either Shimano Aeroglass or Graphite Composite, depending upon the model. The reel seat on many models and the gimbal are also made using the high quality graphite. This series of casting rods range from 6’0” to 7’0” long and have seven to eight Fuji aluminum oxide guides.
