The blank is made of the very lightweight material HSD graphite and it is protected against UV damage by a coating of Polyfluor. Along the rod there are textured ferrule grips which make it easy to take apart, even with wet hands after a long day on the water. This two piece model features a length of 11’, line weight of 20 - 40 pounds, and a lure weight of 4 - 7 ounces. There are six guides on the rod for excellent line control, and this model has a Regular Action and a Heavy Power rating for really hauling in those monsters.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase. Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
