Daiwa Power Assist Reels

Daiwa Seaborg SB300FB power assisted reels are sleek and compact, and are designed for braided line. Daiwa really took their time when designing this reel to make fishing enjoyable and easy.

There is a Power Lever which allows you to have instant control over your retrieve speed and power. The digital display shows you your line depth and retrieves distance. There is also an Auto Stop feature which will automatically stop your reel from winding as soon as your lure breaks the surface of the water. You have the option of manually casting this reel, or it is able to drop line up to 400 feet in depth. The battery is a 12 volt DC battery which is nicely tucked away behind the reel to prevent it from getting in your way. You are able to wash off this reel after a long day out on the boat due to the fact that all the electronics are sealed and water won’t affect it.

In the interior there is a total of 18 ball bearings plus a roller bearing which allow you to bring in those large game fish with ease whether you are using the manual winding option or the automatic option. A power cord and reel bag is included for your convenience.

Daiwa Seaborg SB500Fe power assisted reels have great mobility because of their interchangeable and compact battery.  This Daiwa Power Assisted Reel has been designed so that you are able to cast jigs or large baits with great ease, as well as being able to drop your line to depths of 800 feet and more.

The outside has a sleek design with no added bulky winches like commercial anglers use. This reel has a Power Lever that will allow you to have total control over winding speed and power. The Daiwa SB500Fe also has the useful feature of Auto Stop which will automatically stop winding the line as soon as your lure or bait comes out of the water. There is also a helpful digital display which will show you how much line is out, and the distance that you have retrieved from the bottom. This helpful feature will allow you to drop your jig or bait right back into the strike zone. Because you are able to drop your line to such great depths, this reel is perfect for fishing grouper, amberjack, snapper, cod and other species of fish that are often found at depths greater than 400 feet. This power-assisted reel is not only castable, but you also have the option to manually reel in your bait or jig. There is a compact battery (not included) that is tucked out of the way, unlike other brands of power-assisted reels.
 
The electronics of this reel are sealed so that when you need to rinse off the reel you don’t have to worry about them being ruined by the water. There are a total of 11 ball bearings and one roller bearing on the inside which will allow your reel to function properly even under the heaviest of loads.
