The lightweight blank is made of HSD graphite and is protected by a coat of Polyfluor which prevents damage due to UV rays. The grips are made of high density Duracork that won't slip during a fight, and there are textured ferrule grips that enable you to take apart the rod with ease when the day is done. There are seven large guides made of aluminum oxide and the allow you to toss lure weights from 4 to 7 ounces on line that can range from 20 to 40 pounds.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase. Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
