The Daiwa Emcast Surf EC 1102HFS is a two piece, 11’ long spinning rod. It's blank has a Heavy Power rating with a Fast Action. The line weight is from 20 to 40 pounds and the lure weight an range from 4 to 7 ounces. There are six large guides on the rod that each have an aluminum oxide ring insert for fantastic line management and excellent casting. The blank is made of highly sensitive graphite, and is protected by Diawa's X-Tube which prevents wear and scratching.  The advantage of this sensitive blank is that it enables the angler to detect the bottom as well as light pickups as they are happening.  There is also a stainless hooded Reel Seat and a grip made of Duracork to keep everything together at the butt end of this surf caster.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
