The Shimano Stella FD Spinning Reel is a proven leader in reel performance, featuring Shimanos’ new Propulsion and Paladin Systems for greater dependability and accuracy.  The Propulsion Line Management System allows you to cast farther and with greater accuracy utilizing a cutting edge propulsion spool, SR one-piece bail wire and Power Roller.  The Paladin System uses an aluminum drive gear along with a brass pinion gear to create a drivetrain that stays smoother longer than any other gear system.  The Stella FD features a lightweight magnesium frame and sideplate along with an aluminum rotor making it a strong, reliable reel.  The reels' A-RB ball bearings are expertly shielded increasing the reels' durability.  The Aero Wrap II Oscillation worm gear enables a more uniform line lay.  The Shimano Stella FD also boasts Septon Grips and a convenient maintenance port.
