The Daiwa Saltiga Surf SA-S 1102HFB casting rod for surf fishing is suitable for catching just about anything you can hook into from the shore or jetty.  This two piece rod is built using the V-Flex Ferrule System which makes it easier to take apart, and the blank is made of a Power Slim HVF Graphite construction that makes the rod strong, sensitive and durable. This model has nine Fuji New Concept Alconite Guides, a Heavy Power rating, and a Fast Action.  Lure weights can range of 4 to 7 ounces, and the recommended line weight is 20 to 40 pounds.  The balance of this rod can be customized to the needs of the angler with the adjustable balance weight, allowing the rod to be balanced to reel it's matched up to.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
