The Daiwa Emcast Surf EC 802MFSA is a spinning rod built for catching all kinds of fish you may bring your lure past while casting from a beach, breakwall or pier. This rod is 8’ long, made of two pieces and has a tough graphite blank that's sensitive enough to detect even the most subtle takes. The advantage of this particular blank is that it is protected from scratching by Diawa's X-Tube. This model features a Med. power rating with a Fast Action for good all around performance. Five guides run the length of the blank that was rated for a lure weight of 0.75 to 3 ounces and a line weight of 12 to 20 pounds. The grip is hand-wrapped and made of high density Duracork, and the reel seat is stainless and hooded.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase. Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
