The “guts" of this reel has Daiwa patented Digigear design, which has digitally designed gears to ensure a perfect mesh of the super-tough, surface treated alloy drive gear and marine bronze pinion gear. With a 5.1:1 gear ratio this reel is guaranteed to increase your speed, power and durability. There are nine specially treated stainless steel bearings as well as one roller bearing to ensure a much smoother retrieve. The main shaft has zero friction which allows for a very powerful and smooth retrieve.

The sturdy aluminum body, sideplate and rotor will impress you out on the water. There is a water resistant, sealed drag so you don’t have to worry about water, or debris affecting the ability of this reel the function at its best potential. The bail on this reel is a Tubular stainless Air Bail®, equipped with an ultra-reliable manual bail closure with bail lock that prevents handle and rotor turning during casts.

Warranty Information:
Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
