The Daiwa SLD30 2 Speed Conventional Reel is built to handle the tough punishments from large game fish. The frame and side plate are unitized aluminum, and the aluminum rod clamp and stainless steel reel foot allow you to firmly attach this reel to the rod. The handle of the Daiwa Sealine SLD30 is balanced and has an oversized hand grip for added comfort. This reel keeps its durability, without taking on additional weight by being equipped with an aluminum spool. The Daiwa Sealine 30 2 Speed has a two speed gearbox which has a fast, push button shift allowing you to pull in over a yard of line per handle crank, or shift to the lower gear for more power to pull in those super heavy and tough fish. In order to give you up to 15% more winding power, Daiwa has put a dual-point gear shaft support inside the Daiwa SLD30 2 Speed. There are six sealed stainless steel ball bearing, which include Daiwa’s CRBB spool bearing which provide maximum corrosion resistance.
