The Daiwa Saltiga SA30 Conventional Reel was designed with heavy duty saltwater fishing in mind. The handle on this reel has the ability to be locked in two different positions depending on your desire, and also comes with an oversized comfortable hand fitting grip to allow you the utmost comfort when fighting big game fish. This reel has one of the fastest retrieves on the market, pulling in almost one yard of line per handle turn.  The spool, frame and side panels are all constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum for maximum performance and strength.

Rugged, precision components are found throughout this entire reel. There are precision machined, massive, high-strength alloy gears, which will allow an extremely smooth retrieve. The washers within the drag are a combination of stainless steel and grease-impregnated graphite washers. There are six ball bearings as well as one roller bearing that make the retrieve of this reel superb.

Warranty Information:
Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
