It has a fast action and medium power, which makes it suitable for catching all types of freshwater and some smaller saltwater fish. The blank is made from High Modulus IM-9 Graphite which makes it strong and yet sensitive enough to feel even the lightest takes. The handle is made from shaped Grade A cork, and there are nine Gudebrod thread wrapped New Concept Fuji Alconite guides along the length of the rod for excellent casting capabilities. This model has a lure rating of 3/16 to 1/2 ounce and a line rating of 8 to 17 pounds, so handling a hard fighting fish shouldn't be a problem.
