Built on the traditional Shimano Aluminum Frame this reel has all the newest technology. The 4000 FE features the Propulsion Line Management System, this 5 part system works together to provide the angler longer casts, less backlash and wind knots. Working together to reduce friction, backlash, reduce premature bail closing, and keep the line in contact are the Propulsion Spool Lip, SR One-Piece Bail Wire, Power Roller II, Redesigned Bail Trip and S-Arm Cam. Also included are the Septon Handle Grips, that won't get slippery when wet, and allow the angler to utilize all the power of the tough waterproof drag system to crank in that fish of a lifetime. It also has a maintenance Port and repairable Clicker.
