Braided fishing line is one of the strongest types of fishing line relative to its diameter. Because of braided fishing lines' small diameter there is little drag on the line due to tidal flow and has become a favorite among fishermen who live line or three-way live bait fish. Also, because of the thin diameter of braided line, the spool of a fishing reel can be loaded with more braided line than is possible with other line types. Braided line offers exceptional casting distances due to its small diameter.
