The Daiwa Saltiga Surf SASURF6000 Spinning Reel is designed with Daiwa’s lightweight “Air Metal” magnesium frame to withstand the punishments from surfcasting fisherman. The smoothness and power of this reel are incredible due to 4 CRBB (corrosion resistant ball bearings), 3 stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing in the inside for ultra smooth retrieves. The gears are perfectly meshed and aligned due to Daiwa’s Digigear, digitally designed gears and you don’t have to worry about debris affecting the drag because it is sealed to prevent anything from hampering its performance. The bail on the SASURF6000 is Daiwa’s tubular Air Bail, which has a line roller with dual CRBB bearings and a bail lock. The spool and handle are both made of aluminum which make them not only lightweight, but super strong for cranking in even the hardest fighting fish.
