Daiwa Saltist STT30T Conventional Reel is Special Order (ships in 5-7 business days)Daiwa Saltist STT30T Conventional Reel is built with today’s super braided lines in mind. It has Daiwa’s Full Metal Jacket design, so virtually all of the components are made of heavy duty metal, which allows it to hold up to any punishment that braided or mono lines can give it.
There are super tough alloy gears on the inside of the STT30T, giving it up to 30% more winding power than most other reels on the market. These gears also ensure smoothness and strength when bringing in those super heavy game fish. There are specially coated corrosion resistant ball bearing which also aide in the performance of the Daiwa Saltist Conventional Reels. Tightening or loosening the drag is easy due to the grease impregnated and stainless steel washers that make up the system. The frame is made out of machined solid bar stock aluminum, allowing it to stay in alignment and function properly, even while fighing the most aggressive fish. The handle has an extremely comfortable hand grip and is able to be locked it two positions which allows you to choose which position is the most comfortable for you. The dual anti-reverse system of the Daiwa STT30T prevents your spool and handle from spinning backwards when you cast for a much smoother and longer cast, and no nasty backlashes.
