This Baitcasting Reel has Daiwa’s free floating spool, which unlike other reels, where the pinion gear constantly rides on the spool shaft, this system floats the spool on precision, stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing, allowing the spool to spin freely when casting. The interior design of the drag comes equipped with Daiwa’s seven-disc wet drag that contain fiber composite and stainless steel washers, allowing you to have optimum fish control.
The TDTR153HL has a low profile, super strong, one-piece aluminum frame and sideplate designed to perform and handle anything you throw at it. This reel has Daiwa’s Magforce-Z which is an automatic anti-backlash system. The automatic anti-backlash system will prevent your game fish from running when it is unwanted. There is also Daiwa’s Infinite Anti-Reverse which stops your handle from unwanted spinning when you cast. This Baitcasting Reel has an aluminum star drag with micro click adjustment allowing you to change the tension of your drag as needed very easily. This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
