The Shimano Convergence Spinning CVS66MA is a great rod to use with swimmer baits,  crankbaits and light spinnerbaits.  The blank of this one piece 6’6” rod is made from IM-6 Graphite and the reel seat is made of a graphite composite.  The handles are made of cork and there is an EVA butt cap, as well as a convenient hook keeper to keep your line from getting tangled while not in the water.  There are seven lightweight Fuji aluminum oxide guides that are all Gudebrod thread wrapped for years of fish fighting action.  The line rating of this model is 6 to 12 pounds and it has a lure rating of 1/8 – 1/2 ounces.

To request warranty repairs on a United States warranty claim, send your rod, postage prepaid, to Shimano or return it to the retailer that it was purchased from. To request warranty repairs on a Canadian warranty claim, send your rod, postage prepaid to Shimano. All warranty requests must be accompanied by a valid dated sales receipt and a brief note describing the difficulty you are experiencing with the rod in as much detail as possible.
