The Shimano Clarus Spinning CSSX68MA model is a 6’8” long rod with a one piece construction that is great for catching many kinds of fish.  It has Medium Power with an Extra Fast Action tip which makes it fantastic to lure control.  The blank is constructed with andIM-7 Graphite, making it a lightweight model that is strong and sensitive enough to feel even the lightest takes.  There are eight New Concept Fuji aluminum oxide guides that are Gudebrod thread wrapped along the length of the rod for excellent casting and smooth retrieves.   There is also a handle made from Grade A cork and a convenient hook keeper to keep things in line while not in the water.  The line rating of this model is 6 to 12 pounds and the lure rating 3/16 to 5/8 ounce.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty will be considered VOID if the rod is found to have been subjected to repairs not authorized by Shimano, or if it has been modified, neglected, improperly maintained, misused, abused, or the appearance of the product reveals damage by your failure to provide proper maintenance.

To request warranty repairs on a United States warranty claim, send your rod, postage prepaid, to Shimano or return it to the retailer that it was purchased from. To request warranty repairs on a Canadian warranty claim, send your rod, postage prepaid to Shimano. All warranty requests must be accompanied by a valid dated sales receipt and a brief note describing the difficulty you are experiencing with the rod in as much detail as possible.
