The CSC710MA is one model belonging to the Shimano Clarus Casting series and this rod is 7’10” long and is ideal for catching medium to large size freshwater fish, and many smaller saltwater species as well.  This casting rod has a Medium Power and a Fast Action for excellent lure control.  The line rating is 10 – 17 pounds and a lure rating 1/4 – 1 ounces. All warranty requests must be accompanied by a valid dated sales receipt and a brief note describing the difficulty you are experiencing with the rod in as much detail as possible.
