The Shimano Sustain 8000 FE is constructed of an Aluminum Frame with Graphite Rotor and Sideplates, and includes an Aluminum Spool with Titanium Lip to reduce line friction when casting.  This reel features Shimano's newest features;  including the Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement for a smoother retrieve, an impressive 42" Line Retrieve Per Crank, and a durable Waterproof Drag System.  The Aero Wrap II Oscillation provides a more fluid line lay and greater casting accuracy. Additionally, the 8000 FE has 7 Shielded, Anti-Rust Bearings, a gear ratio of 5.7:1, a heavy duty Waterproof Drag System, and is packed with a spare Aluminum Spool with Titanium Lip.
