The Shimano Stradic 1000 FI is a great all around reel.  Constructed of an Aluminum Frame with Graphite Sideplate and Rotor it is lightweight yet extremely durable.  The 1000 FI has 5 S A-RB (Shielded, Anti-Rust) Bearings for smoother performance.  It also features Aero Wrap II Oscillation and titanium coated spool lip which reduced backlash and wind knots from forming.  Also included are the Septon Handle Grips that won't slip when wet, and an easily accessable Maintenance Port.
