The Shimano Sedona 500 FD is the lightest reel in the line, weighing 6.2 oz.  The Sedona 500 FD is also the only reel in the line to offer the Maintenance Port for easy access to the drivetrain that is controlled by the Machined Aluminum Handle.  Friction and hang-ups are eliminated by the Slow Oscillation feature which evenly lays the line on the spool increasing its castability.  The Dyna-Balance counter balances the rotor eliminating reel wobble on retrieve so you can feel even the most subtle nibbles.  Super Stopper II is a one way roller bearing that eliminates all back play for superior hook setting power.  This new Shimano Sedona 500 FD is sure to please.
