The Shimano Citica Baitcasting Reel is lightweight and compact.  It is an ideal general duty reel, constructed of an Aluminum Frame with Lightweight Graphite Sideplates.  The design of this fishing reel is very ergonomic featuring a Recessed Reel Foot and Rubber Paddle Grips which allow for a greater variety of casting styles.  The Citica features 4 Shielded Stainless Steel Bearings for smooth retrieves in all conditions.  The Super Stopper II with Assist Stopper feature is a Shimano exclusive, the one way roller bearing eliminates all back play for superior hook setting power.  The Variable Brake system is one of a kind; it uses centrifugal force instead of magnets to control the cast, giving the angler greater speed and fewer backlashes on each cast.  This Citica is packed with all the features you expect from a Shimano Reel.
