The Shimano Calcutta TE 300 is one of the most powerful Baitcasting Reels on the market. The A-RB Anti-Rust Bearings are designed to be more durable than stainless steel and make your casts appear effortless. Line angle and backlash are non-existent thanks to the Non Disengaging Levelwind System; the levelwind remains engaged during the cast decreasing friction. The Calcutta TE 300 utilizes High Efficiency Gearing with increased drive gear and pinion gear for increased leverage; and a One Piece Frame and Sideplate for eliminating flex on the drive train. All these features add up to greater amounts of torque and unbelievable retrieve speeds.
