The Shimano Calcutta 50 B is a lightweight, rugged, and dependable reel.  The 50 B weighs in at only 7.9 oz., making it the ultralight choice in the Calcutta line.  It has a gear ratio of 5.0:1 and a quick line retrieve of 16" per crank.  Like the rest of the Calcutta line, the 50 B has an all Aluminum Frame to keep the weight down, Variable Brake System for fine tuning the fight, and A R-B bearings for long life and a smooth reel.  It is the ultimate in simple, quality design.

Retailers and wholesale outlets are not required or authorized to perform warranty repairs or exchanges on behalf of Shimano. If sending your reel to Shimano directly, please call for verification on due date as some seasons experience high volume.  All warranty requests must be accompanied by a dated sales receipt, your name, address, telephone number (daytime), email address (optional), and a brief description of the issues related to your warranty request.
