Roberts’ 1 ¾ oz. Bounder is the premier favorite of surfcasting anglers up and down the west and east coast. The Bounder is a popular variation of the Ranger and is designed for lighter surfcasting, but it’s versatile enough to handle heavier outfits, too. A lighter and flatter lure than the Ranger, the construction of the Bounder takes advantage a slow retrieve for its slip and slide top-water action. The Bounder still gets great action on rapid retrieves if they’re necessary. This 4.5 in. long lure (length does not include rigged Mustad hook) is great for blues and stripers.
