The Penn Slammer 560 Spinning Reel can be used in all types of fishing scenarios: fresh or saltwater, on shore or in the boat, with a plug or lure, and will perform to its fullest every time. With the full metal design combined with a triple supported oversized main shaft, the Penn 560 Slammer is certain to hold up and stay aligned even under extremely tough loads. The handle of the Penn Slammer 560 is able to be used on the right or left side. There is a lightweight, heavy duty aluminum spool in the Penn 560, with Penn’s HT-100 Drag system that gives you the option to tighten the drag to completely stop the fish. It gives you the capability to tire the fish out in order to easily bring it to shore or the boat. There are five stainless steel ball bearings and one infinite anti-reverse roller bearing which together gives you the smooth retrieves, prevents handle spinning, and line backlash.
