The Penn Slammer 260 Spinning Reel is an extremely diverse fishing reel no matter where you are fishing, fresh or saltwater, on shore or boat, it will perform no matter what. The Penn 260 Reel has a full metal design, which when paired up with a triple supported oversized main shaft, is guaranteed to hold up and stay aligned even under the heaviest of loads. The spool is made of anodized aluminum, and the drag is Penn’s HT-100 Drag System, which gives you the option to tighten the drag to stop the fish from running in order to easily bring it to shore or the boat. There are five stainless steel ball bearings and one infinite anti-reverse roller bearing which combined give you the smoothest retrieve, even under high cranking speeds. They also prevent handle spinning and line backlash. Whether you are a righty or a lefty, the Penn 260 Slammer will adapt to you due to the fact that the handle is able to be switched to suit your needs.
