These lure lights weigh a super light 7 grams, and can be used by themselves as a small jig, or with spinners or other rigs. The Esca Lure Light replicates the natural glowing light systems used by squid and other marine organisms. The Esca requires no batteries to generate light as they use saltwater electrolosis to get the job done. Drop it in the water and the lure begins to generate light. Take it out of the water and simply shuts off. They come in two colors: Blue and Green. Blue light is the most commonly used color in marine organisms in their light organs. This wavelength penetrates best in deep water. However, green light is best for shallow waters and waters with algae. You can also choose a fading light which gradually fades every time it lights up and a blinking version which generates patterned blinks of light at the same intensity. These are great for night fishing or for dropping jigs down around wrecks. The options for rigging the Esca are endless. You can add the Esca light ahead of your favorite bait on a 3-way rig or you can add the Esca between a jig its' hook. Choose which color is better for your fishing areas and let these lights work their magic. These lures can also be paired up with the Esca rubber squid or Esca rubber shrimp.
