The model SA-S 1002MHFB of the Daiwa Saltiga Surf series is a 10’ long two piece casting rod that is suitable for catching many kinds of saltwater game fish found in coastal waters.  The rod has a Fast Action, and it's backed up with a Med. Heavy Power backbone to handle even most aggressive fish.  The blank is made from Power Slim HVF Graphite, and your reel is kept in place with a super strong Fuji real seat.  This model also has adjustable balance weights which allow the angler to fine tune the balance or the rod according to individual preferences.  There are eight Fuji New Concept Alconite Guides for ultra smooth casting. The line weight is 15 – 30 pounds and the lure weight 3 – 6 ounces.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
