The SA-S1203HFS-I model is the longest of the Daiwa Saltiga Interline Surf series of fishing rods with a total length of 12’. The line weight can be from 17 to 40 pounds and the lure weight can range from 4 to 10 ounces. This particular rod falls into the categories of Heavy Power with a Fast Action. Spinning and casting reels can be used with the Fuji DPS Reel Seat. The guideless design of this rod is possible because of the Hyper-Dry construction which keeps the inside dry allowing the line to flow freely. The blank itself is made with Power Slim HVF Graphite and is therefore strong and longlasting for many days on the jetty or beach.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
