The Daiwa Emcast Surf EC 1002MHFS is a two piece, 10’ long spinning rod. It has Med-Heavy power and is a Fast Action rod. The line weight is from 15 to 30 pounds and the lure weight can range from 3 to 6 ounces. There are five large guides on the rod that each have an aluminum oxide ring insert. It also comes with a stainless hooded reel seat and a Duracork Grip for long lasting comfort. The blank is made of graphite, but protected by X-Tube which prevents wear and scratches. The sensitive blank enables easier detection of bottom conditions and light pickups so you don't miss a thing.
