The Daiwa Beefstick JB-Conventional BF-JB701HR is the longest and most powerful of this series of rods, measuring in at 7’ and having an allowable line weight of 20 – 50 pounds and rated for lure weights of 2 to 8 ounces. There are eight guides, all of which are double wrapped, double coated with clear colored Epoxy, and made of a durable aluminum oxide. The real advantage of this one piece rod is its Heavy Power rating and Regular Action that make up a smooth bending powerhouse of a rod that can really put the pull to a fish. The material used for the rod is a graphite reinforced solid E-Glass, which is very strong, durable and long lasting for years of trips on the water.
