The Saltiga Blast offers an oversized, Titanium Nitrided, ball bearing line roller and Zero Friction Mainshaft is design for smoother, a more powerful retrieve when fighting large game fish.  The Daiwa Saltiga Blast features nine ball bearings plus a roller bearing.   The machined ABS (Advanced Ballistic System) aluminum spool with reversed taper means you can fill it with line right up to the edge of the spool lip without the fear of tangles. The large spool diameter and Titanium Nitrided lip lets line flow freely in larger coils and produces less line memory coil. The result is less casting friction for longer, easier casting.
