There are nine specially treated stainless steel bearings as well as one roller bearing to ensure a much smoother retrieve. The main shaft has zero friction which allows for a very powerful and smooth retrieve.
The sturdy aluminum body, sideplate and rotor will impress you out on the water. There is a water resistant, sealed drag so you don’t have to worry about water, or debris affecting the ability of this reel the function at its best potential. The bail on this reel is a Tubular stainless Air Bail®, equipped with an ultra-reliable manual bail closure with bail lock that prevents handle and rotor turning during casts.
