The exterior of this reel is specifically designed for performance and to withstand the harsh elements and environment of saltwater fishing. There is an oversized aluminum spool that allows the line to flow freely from the reel in large coils, which in turn produces minimal line memory. The Advanced Ballistic System (ABS) spool has a maximized core diameter and rearward taper ensures that you have 100% usable line. There is a corrosion-resistant Twister Buster line roller on the drag that causes minimal line twist. There is a precision, worm-shaft level wind which cross-wraps the line evenly on the spool. This spinning reel comes equipped with an Infinite Anti-Reverse which will eliminated handle back play and allows for great hook sets. The handle of this reel is able to be folded with an easy push of a button.
The inside of this reel is just as impressive as the outside. You are assured of the smoothest of retrieves with the 6 ball bearings and one roller bearing; the six ball bearings are specially coated with Daiwa’s CRBB, Corrosion Resistant Ball Bearings. Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase. Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
