The Daiwa Black Gold BG15 Spinning Reel is design to allow you to fish in both saltwater and freshwater. The outside of the Daiwa BG15 is coated with a hard anodized corrosion-resistant finish and will stand up to the harsh elements of saltwater fishing. The drive train of the BG15 is protected by a strong, rigid metal frame, so you don't have to worry about of your drive-train staying inline under a strenuous load . The Daiwa Black Gold spinning reel has a silent left/right retrieve with a large, comfortable folding wooden handle.  The oversized drag is constructed of Teflon and stainless steel washers so there is no metal-to-metal friction, which makes adjusting the drag a breeze.

The main shaft of this reel is made of extremely strong stainless steel and has exceptionally accurate gearing. This spinning reel has three stainless steel ball bearings inside which are specially coated to prevent deterioration from water and other debris. These reels have been around for 20 years and are time-proven workhorses.

Daiwa will repair or replace without charge any Daiwa rod or reel which is defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of purchase by the consumer. Please retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. Please do the following when returning rods or reels for warranty repair: Do not remove parts, enclose proof of purchase and a statement of warranty claim with nature of problem. Also, please list the model name and number of reel/rod and your return address and to protect against loss or damage in transit, your reel/rod should be carefully packaged and adequately insured. Please retain all shipping receipts.
