The outside of this reel has a corrosion-proof hard anodized finish that allows it to be able to deal with the harshest elements. There is a folding handle on this reel to make storing and transporting this reel a breeze. The Black Gold BG13 comes with a silent left/right hand retrieve and an oversized ultra comfortable wooden handle. There are Teflon and stainless steel washers to eliminate metal on metal friction in the high performance drag, which will allow you to tighten and loosen it with no problems.
The Black Gold Spinning Reel has three specially coated stainless steel ball bearings inside which will prevent deterioration from water and other debris. The main shaft is made of ultra strong stainless steel and has extremely accurate gearing. Inside and out these reels are true performers, and you won't be disappointed.

Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
