The Daiwa Black Gold Spinning Reels BG10 is a universal reel that allows you to fish in both freshwater and saltwater. With a strong metal frame this spinning reel and corrosion-proof hard anodized finish, it will continue to stay in line even with the biggest of fish, and will be able to deal with the harsh saltwater elements. If you are tired of you reel's handle getting in the way when you store or transport it; Daiwa has fixed that problem with a folding wooden grip that has a silent left/right retrieve. The drag on this Daiwa reel is constructed of Teflon and stainless steel washers to eliminate metal on metal friction and allows you to tighten and loosen the drag with great ease.

The main shaft is made of stainless steel and has precise gearing. There are also three specially coated stainless steel ball bearings which will prevent corrosion from water and other debris. Inside and out these reels are true performers, and you won't be disappointed.

Warranty Information:
Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
