Daiwa Silvercast-A SC80A Spincasting Reel is Special Order (ships in 5-7 business days)Daiwa Silvercast-A SC80A Spincasting Reel is an extremely universal reel that won’t let you down no matter what you put it through.
The “guts” of this reel has a Titanium Nitrided, roller line pickup which is attached right to the spool; this allows it to turn with the spool as you are reeling in the line, which in turn causes less wear and tear on your line, allowing your line to maintain its strength and last much longer. To make sure you have extremely smooth retrieves, Daiwa has put three ball bearings inside to keep your reel functioning properly.
This reel is extremely strong and lightweight due to the rigid aluminum alloy Hardbodyz construction. To guarantee smooth casting and maximum performance, Daiwa has added an oversized line aperture. The handle of this reel is designed for comfort with its Soft Touch Hand Grip. There is a dial adjustment drag with extremely smooth discs which allow easy precision adjusting.
