Daiwa Saltist STT20H Conventional Reel is Special Order (ships in 5-7 business days)Daiwa Saltist STT20H Conventional Reel is built with the brute strength to withstand the punishments of today’s braided lines, but still smooth enough to manage monofilament line just as well. With its “Full Metal Jacket” design, almost all of this reel's components are made of metal for maximum durability and reliability in even the harshest of environments.
The outside of the Daiwa Saltist Conventional Reels are designed to handle whatever Mother Nature throws at you. The frame is made of rugged, solid aluminum that will allow this reel to hold up to the even heaviest of loads. This reel also comes equipped with dual anti-reverse systems that will keep your spool and handle from back spinning when you cast. The drag is extremely easy to adjust, with the option of really being able to crank up the tension to a maximum drag pressure of 15.4 lbs. The handle has a comfortable hand grip which allows you the ultimate comfort when fighting in those hard fighters from way down deep. The handle also has the ability to be put into two positions, so you can choose which is most comfortable for you.
With a great exterior design, Daiwa needed to continue and do the same on the inside. There are extremely strong alloy gears that not only give you the added strength and smoothness that you would expect from Daiwa, but up to 30% more winding power than normal reel as well. The drag can handle even the hardest fighting fish and maintain its smoothness because of the grease impregnated and stainless steel washers which will allow you to adjust pressure up or down with ease. Lastly, but certainly not least, the spool bearings are specially coated and sealed to prevent saltwater, debris and corrosion from affecting its performance when that fish of a lifetime is at the end of your line.
