Daiwa Saltist Conventional Reels
The Daiwa Saltist Conventional Reel features Daiwa’s “Full Metal Jacket” construction, which allows you to use both monofilament and today’s super tough braided lines. This entire reel is constructed of rugged metal parts, with a rigid, one piece solid aluminum frame. There is a dual position power handle with an extremely comfortable hand grip. The aluminum rod clamp allows you to reinforce the reel's seating to the rod of your choice. There is a dual anti-reverse system on this conventional reel that will prevent your spool and handle from spinning backwards while casting or at rest. The stainless steel and grease impregnated fiber washers that make up the drag allowing you to adjust the drag with super smooth precision and also gives you up to 22% more drag max. There are special CRBB anti-corrosion spool bearings which are sealed to keep all the debris out, and will last up for up to twelve times longer than a reel without these bearings. The internal gears of this reel gives you up to 30% more winding power due to the fact that they are made of super strong alloy stock which gives you incredible strength and a smooth feel.
