Daiwa Saltiga Surf Conventional Reels
The Daiwa Saltiga Surf Conventional Reel is designed to be exceptionally good at casting long distances with either braided line or monofilament line. The frame and side plates are machined out of solid, bar stock aluminum to ensure an incredibly strong conventional reel. In order to be an extremely fast-starting reel the spool is constructed of ultra-lightweight machined aluminum. The handle of the Daiwa Saltiga Surf Reel is counter-balanced and is able to be locked in dual positions for easy retrieves. The guts of this series has seven ball and roller bearings, including CRBB anti-corrosion bearings, as well as massive, machined cut, high strength gears which combined allow retrieves that are smoother than most reels on the market. From top to bottom there are definitely rugged, precision components throughout this series.
