The Daiwa Saltiga SA30L's machined aircraft-grade aluminum frame, anodized side plates, and spool yield a super lightweight, but extreme strong, durable reel, that's corrosion resistant. The handle on this reel is able to be put into two different positions, and has an oversized soft hand grip for added comfort. It has a dual-system infinite Anti-Reverse, and one of the fastest retrieves on the market, at almost one yard per handle turn.
The drive train of this reel is composed of 7 bearings, 6 ball bearings and one roller bearing, which make the task of reeling in that massive fish a breeze. You are able to adjust the drag of this reel with ease due to the fact that the washers of this reel are a combination of grease impregnated graphite and stainless steel.

Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase. Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
