The "guts" of this conventional reel are impressive. It has extremely strong alloy gears, that’s sole purpose is to make sure your retrieve is smooth and successful. There is one roller bearing and six ball bearings on the inside that are specially coated and sealed to prevent any debris from corroding them. The frame and side plates are machined of extremely rigid anodized solid bar stock aluminum which will help in preventing corrosion. The spool of this reel is also constructed of accuracy machined; aircraft grade aluminum which gives the reel added strength. The handle of this reel has two positions and has a massive, hand-fitting grip for added comfort.
