A great reel starts with the interior design. The gears of the SG47LCA are machine-cut bronze that are designed to stand up to whatever you choose to throw at it. There is a Power Mesh drive which will give you maximum winding power. The drag of this reel houses massive, Teflon impregnated felt washers which let’s you tighten or loosen the drag easily no matter when you choose to.

The exterior of this reel is extremely durable and is able to perform even under the most strenuous loads. The frame has an anodized forged aluminum spool, which is not only extremely rigid, but super lightweight so it doesn’t weigh down your fishing pole; it also holds an amazing amount of line. The solid graphite frame is not only is very tough but will also prevent corrosion from the elements you will find when saltwater fishing. This Daiwa Line Counter Reel come with a counter balance handle with an extremely comfortable hand grip. With the line counter on the top of this reel, you are able to know exactly how many feet of line is out, so when you enter a strike zone, you are able to retrieve that fish and proceed to drop your jig or bait right back where it was.

Warranty Information:
Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
