The outside of this reel is designed for durability and performance. The one piece graphite frame is not only extremely heavy-duty, but will also prevent corrosion from the harsh elements that saltwater fishing deals out. The frame contains an anodized forged aluminum spool, which is not only extremely resilient, but super lightweight so it doesn’t hamper your fishing adventures; it also has the capability to hold an amazing amount of line. This Daiwa Line Counter Reel comes equipped with a double-paddled Walleye Handle that comes with two super comfortable hand grips. With the line counter on the top of this reel, you are able to know exactly how many feet of line is out, so when you enter a strike zone, you are able to bring in that big fish and drop your jig or bait right back where it was.
A reel is only as strong as the insides, and Daiwa certainly proves this. The drive train is Power Mesh which allows you maximum winding power, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to bring in big fish.
