The Daiwa Saltist Levelwind Line Counter Conventional Reel series combines the incredible strength of a heavy duty linecounter with the luxury of a levelwind casting reel. In order to prevent body flex, Daiwa has constructed these reels out of rugged aluminum alloy frame and sideplate. There is a machined aluminum spool which fishing line lays smoothly on. In order to prevent backplay these reels are equipped with a dual-system anti-reverse system. The line counter is a direct-drive which conveniently measures the line by the foot in order to drop your line right back to where the fish are biting.
